Job Description:

As a Global Sourcing Assistant you will support the Sourcing Manager and/or Associate Sourcing Manager to execute the Lands’ End Global Sourcing strategy. You will communicate and follow up with vendors, mills and business partners on a daily basis. You will monitor and track Product to Market calendar milestones and all Sample, 3D, Color/Cad and Trim development. In addition, you will update product development and production data as required in IPLM and other systems as requested.

Successful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Work closely with PD manager, design and mills to execute print and pattern development.


• Assist team to coordinate handoffs and make seasonal order placements for samples.


• Assist team to order and receive 3D images.


• Assist team with internal product milestone management, including RMS purchase order maintenance.


• Maintain IPLM style maintenance and run audit on missing data.


• Monitor and adhere to PTM deadline to keep development on calendar and call out risk.


• Process and track all debit memo and custom order invoicing.


• Primary custom order workflow management for sourcing task.


• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.


• Outstanding prioritization and organizational skills.


• Excellent problem-solving skills. Results and goal oriented.


• Flexible and responsive to changing demands.


• Proficiency in using mainframe, Excel, Word, Business Objects, PC based packages, and PLM.


• Excellent follow through.
