Job Description:


The Commercial Client Support Professional is responsible for the customer experience by providing support to Commercial clients and serving as a liaison between the lenders and internal Bank departments such as Loan and Deposit Operations. Primary role of providing administrative support to Relationship Managers within the Commercial portfolio hub charters.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Handle daily customer requests via phone and/or system such as account opening, balance inquiries, wire processing. Perform advances, transfers, payoffs and pay downs on loans.


  • Troubleshoot and investigate customer issues and onboard new clients.
  • Assisting with due diligence for commercial/real estate loans.
  • Assist in facilitating loan closings and opening deposit accounts.
  • Work with specialists as needed to support cross-sell opportunities.
  • Promote a customer service environment.
  • Understanding and adhering to Credit/Bank policies and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:


  • Provide assistance if necessary in preparing loan reports for Credit Committee / Board of Directors.
  • Assistance with loan file exception monitoring and tracking.
  • Assist with compiling requested items during internal/external exams.
  • Process payment invoices through Concur.
  • Completing all required compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Bank.

Qualifications


  • 5-7 years in financial services industry experience, with a working knowledge of commercial banking environment, products and supporting processes and technology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize work flow.
  • Knowledge of commercial loan documentation.
  • Commercial experience is preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Outlook/Word/Excel.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • High school diploma (bachelors is preferred).
