eDiscovery Associate Project Manager at United Lex in Overland Park, Kansas

Job Description:

The Associate Project Manager will provide daily support for the Project Managers to assist with the successful delivery of products and services offered by UnitedLex.   Provide detailed documentation during initiation, planning, execution, monitor and control, and closure phases of each project.   Follow process driven execution of project tasks to ensure unified Project Management methodology is adhered to.  Act as a member of the client support center for applications hosted by UnitedLex and other third parties.  Document and report periodic project details to the Project Managers, Legal Professional Services Leadership, clients and project teams.

Responsibilities


  • Gather and thoroughly document requirements using standard project intake forms

  • Assist Project Manager in documenting and tracking all aspects of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including: Early Case Assessment, Forensic Collections, ESI Processing, ASP Hosting, Document Review, Document Production, Data Archival and Storage

  • Analyze processes to propose changes or additions to project procedures

  • Follow detailed Quality Control measures to ensure accuracy of all deliverables

  • Track all time spent on project activities and report to Project Managers periodically

  • Carry and answer a company cell phone at all times, with the exception of pre-approved personal time off.

Qualifications


  • Previous work experience in law firm, corporate legal department or litigation support industry preferred

  • Strong technical background, which can include but is not limited to business process analysis, database design and creation, use of electronic document review tools, facilitate and conduct software training, technical writing and information systems support

  • Detailed planning and organizational skills

  • Exceptional written, electronic and verbal communication skills

  • Strong understanding and efficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications

  • Manage timely completion of multiple requests, adjust and reprioritize according to changing needs

  • Complete project activities according to budget and communicated timelines

  • Communicate frequently and professionally with Project Managers and project team

  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction

  • Provide exceptional customer service for existing and prospective clients

  • Develop team mentality where communication, solutions and good relationships are fostered
