The senior accountant performs a variety of senior level accounting activities, which require advanced professional competency of accounting theories and principles at the senior non-management level. Examines, analyzes, and interprets complex accounting records for the purpose of ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue under ASC 606 in compliance with GAAP. Support month-end close and external financial and internal control audits.

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Compile account information and prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
• Research important accounting issues and suggest the best practices and applications in accordance with accounting standards
• Work with global colleagues on intercompany revenue and expense. Recording of transactions impacting the BS and PL. Completion of global reconciliation
• Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
• Assist with compiling year-end external audit and internal audit requests
• Assist the Assistant Controller and Controller with any ad hoc research, clean-up, reporting projects
• Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes

• BA/BS in accounting
• At least four (4) years of accounting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of accrual accounting, account reconciliations, as well as knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills.

• CPA
• Public Accounting Experience
• Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP system preferred
• Hubble/Insight Financial Reporting
