We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Recovery Representative in our Plantation, FL offices.

The Revenue Recovery Specialist is responsible for analyzing and working variance tasks for payer contracts under the revenue recovery team. This role will also support and collaborate with department supervisors and manager to ensure all contract discrepancies and issues are reported.

Responsibilities

Recommends process improvements to ensure team is working efficiently to obtain additional collections and reduce reimbursement turnaround time.
• May Assist in Training new personnel and demonstration of the material and processes.


• Works to analyze payment variances, report system issues, contracting issues and payer policies.


• Monitors reimbursement patterns of contracted and non-contracted carriers, including government agencies, and escalates unresolved variance issues through appropriate channels


• Monitors and maintains team assigned workflows to ensure production standards are met.


• Keeps Manager and/or Supervisor abreast of any issues or changes in reimbursement that may affect collections.


• Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning patients, employees and/or company business


• Participates in weekly meetings as requested and provides updates as needed


• Other duties as assigned


• Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.

• Healthcare Billing System Experience (Preferably GE Centricity)

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 or more years of related AR Billing/ Reimbursement experience

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Office Suite


• Healthcare Billing System
