Description -

·The Clinical Solution Specialist is primarily responsible to manage all aspects of beta/pilot projects from planning through completion for all multiple business line products and joint projects with other business areas.  With clinical qualification and experience, this person will assist GPS managers to execute a coordinated hand-off to regional software teams upon the release of software.   The success of the Rollout Manager relies strongly on his/her ability to manage, communicate, set and maintain clear expectations with everyone involved in the beta/pilot implementation.

Responsibilities -


  • Manage all aspects of beta/pilot projects from customer selection and planning through completion for new multiple business line products and releases. Facilitates beta/pilot project teams, manages schedules, implementation projects. Coordinates with multiple business line applications, physics and systems teams to communicate updates to the customer.

  • Facilitates meetings with beta/pilot sites as needed during implementation phase.  Due to time zone difference, the deployment coordinator must conduct these outside normal business hours.

  • Communicate implementation project plans, progress, and action items to both external customer and internal teams.

  • Capture proper documentation, including Beta Site Agreement, beta/pilot feedback to meet multiple business line QA requirement.

  • Manage all escalation activities for beta/pilot sites within Elekta customer management systems Support multiple business line management on other departmental project management, meetings coordination etc.; undertake other work as allocated and directed by Director or VP of Validation & Pilot Release.

  • Maintain a continuous professional development to keep product knowledge up to date; take training courses and placements or secondments as agreed within the company’s appraisal process.

  • Provide clinical specialist expertise for new product and release implementation

    • Support VPR teams with clinical input from pilot customers

    • Interface with Product Owners/Managers, User Cantered Design team, and participate in relevant meetings, i.e. system demo, PI planning to understand features in new product/release

    • Understand training, implementation and support plans for limited release phases

    • Provide limited release customer feedback to relevant teams, i.e. Product Managers, R&D Engineering 

    • Support VPR during develop and deliver required clinical training program to other departments in preparation of general release.



  • Lead, organize, and participate in validation activities of products in the Oncology Portfolio.

  • Manage ‘customer led’ validation activities to obtain user feedback for product development and solutions.

  • 5+ years’ experience in software project management, Radiation Therapy, especially Elekta software knowledge is strongly desirable; at least 2 years’ experience working in a customer focused environment and working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to translations for Medical Devices is desirable.

  • BSc degree in Project Management or Health Care, Therapeutic Radiography or similar fields. Must have strong leadership, organizational and time management skill as well as attention to details; ability to accomplish objectives with and through others without direct control.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, CLM and other Window based applications
