Marketing Internship - Urgent Hiring at Elgin Sweeper in Elgin, Illinois

Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the ESG Marcom team and a variety of other company contacts to drive marketing plans for key brands focusing mainly on digital channels.

  • Potential to learn about SEO/SEM, social media, website content, website design, email marketing and more digital marketing skills.


  • Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creative thought process in developing recommendations for landing pages, blogs, designs, etc.

  • Assist with key marketing initiatives, including potential for some design creative

  • Work directly with marcom in managing and evolving our website(s)

  • Conduct SEO research and support growth in SEO through content writing and editing

  • Support growth of followers in our social channels and employee advocacy program

  • Support demand generation efforts of marketing qualified leads (MQL’s) to direct and indirect sales channels

  • Assist in product launches and/or branding campaigns to support company growth aspirations

  • Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements



  • Ideal students will possess the following skills and abilities:


    • Possessing a “can-do” attitude, the Digital Marketing intern has an innovative spirit and uses his/her knowledge/experience to come up with new and better ideas.

    • Strong organization and communication skills.

    • Highly motivated and excited to strengthen marketing skill set.

    • Student pursuing a bachelor's degree program with an emphasis in Marketing or Business. Additional Marketing/Communications experience is a plus.

    • Able to work to tight deadlines with flexibility

    • Proficiency with some of or all of the following:

      • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

      • Google Analytics

      • Experience with basics of SEO/SEM

      • Experience with a variety of marketing tools, such as Hubspot, is a plus
