Job Description:

IBA is actively recruiting for a Project Coordinator to support our Department of Defense (DoD) client located in Falls Church, VA. The Project Coordinator assists with project management activities of information management solutions for IBA’s DoD client. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the IBA Project Controller through the coordination of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine meeting attendees, identify and reserve meeting locations, and send and update meeting invitations.

  • Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting minutes, and other meeting materials.

  • Facilitate project action items, schedules, and product reviews.

  • Draft, coordinate, and submit weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly status reports of each project.

  • Produce information papers and PowerPoint presentation briefs and upload documents to the SharePoint file storage system as needed.

  • Participate in review of project schedules for accuracy, and in the evaluation of vendor progress reports for scheduling and contract funding issues to ensure system developments are in line with project timelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of project management process inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs.

  • Excellent organizational and both oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well with a team, execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status-reporting, etc.

  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities.

Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or work experience required by contract labor category.

  • Minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience.Experience shall demonstrate the ability to perform functional requirements and include a broad range of assignments performing analytical and or/ technical requirements and analysis. 

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP preferred, but not required.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Existing ADP II Public Trust clearance level and above or ability to obtain an ADP II Public Trust.
