Our Role:  PGIM Real Estate’s Business Management group supports the global leadership team in the design and implementation of business operating policies, processes, and long-term strategies.  The team is seeking a Director/Project Manager who will focus on the implementation of PGIM Real Estate’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy and programs as well as other non-DEI initiatives. We are seeking an execution-oriented, collaborative candidate with strong communications skills, both written and verbal. DEI-specific experience is not required.

Ideally the candidate will be based in either Madison NJ, Newark, NJ or New York, NY but we will consider candidates in other US office locations or alternative work arrangements. The role will report to the Executive Director of PGIM Real Estate’s Business Management group and will work in close coordination with PGIM Real Estate’s DEI Lead and frequent interaction with our Human Resources team.

Your Impact:


  • Maintain responsibility for the overall project management of DEI programs and initiatives across PGIM Real Estate, including the development of project plans, deliverables, and timelines for execution.  This spans from idea generation to day-to-day hands-on execution of these projects. 

  • Create and maintain presentation decks and other written communications to effectively communicate mission, progress, and success stories to a variety of audiences. Work with PGIM Real Estate’s Marketing team to develop strategies to communicate DEI initiatives internally and externally.

  • Facilitate PGIM Real Estate’s DEI Council and related meeting management to include preparation of materials and management of related deliverables/action items. 

  • Monitor and manage deliverables of various workstreams; identify tasks, manage activities, and coordinate with stakeholders. Support workstream leaders to manage defined goals and work towards achieving them.

  • Provide hands-on consultation including designing and developing internal and external presentations, executing plans, and drafting documents.

  • Assist with meeting management across workstreams to include facilitation, documentation and post meeting follow-up related to key deliverables due.

  • Coordinate across US and non-US populations, and across PGIM when appropriate. 

  • Solicit and document feedback across a variety of stakeholders.

  • Conduct research related to DEI strategies and best practices.

  • Manage certain non-DEI projects and initiatives for PGIM Real Estate

Your Required Skills:


  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in roles that require overseeing projects and managing stakeholder engagement. Financial industry experience a plus. DEI related experience a plus

  • Strong track record of ideation and creation of accurate, timely and impactful presentations for senior management and external uses.  Strong PowerPoint experience and skills are critical.  

  • Execution-oriented with demonstrated proficiency in executing agendas aligned with business strategy.  

  • Team player with an ability to build partnerships and influence across all levels of the organization.

  • High energy, enthusiasm, initiative, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently while communicating frequently.

  • Proven track record of facilitating organization-wide initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Strong communicator - written and verbal - and exceptional at collaborating with others with the ability to influence team members of all levels

  • Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple complex deliverables under tight deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation
