White Glove Desktop Technician at Kforce Inc in Madison, New Jersey

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Madison, NJ that is seeking a White Glove Desktop Technician. This role will work onsite (not hybrid or remote) at Corporate Headquarters between 9am and 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provides hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers


• Configures workstations for new users and upgrades existing equipment and software


• Sets up and maintains network and telecommunication systems


• Troubleshoots LAN, server and connectivity issues


• Utilizes ticketing system, when necessary


• Re-images computers, performs data migrations and restorations, and conducts remote problem solving as needed


• Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and have strong software experience


• MAC Computer skills


• Microsoft Office 365 experience


• Presents well


• Ability to deal with Executives


• Ability to provide VIP White glove service


• Great communication skills


• Great follow-up


• Works well independently as well as in a team setting


• Flexible and able to readjust due to changing priorities in an Executive environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
