The Operations Manager is part of a collaborative team that assists with community-based research projects in a variety of human services areas and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ruth Knee Institute and affiliated centers. This position is responsible for monitoring grant, foundation, and contracted projects within the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work.
Duties for the Operation Manger include, but are not limited to,
Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures for grants, contracts, MOUs, and foundation agreements
Maintain budgets and assist with reports to internal and external sources
Monthly account reconciliations
Oversees payroll and maintains job descriptions
Manage hiring process of all Graduate Research Assistants and center employees
Supervision and training of Graduation Research Assistants
and other duties as assigned.
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, OR
48 months experience in administration or finance
Skills:
Financial or accounting experience to include analysis, auditing and budgeting
Able to understand a chart of accounts and code entries to proper account
Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English
Basic computer skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
Strong initiative to solve problems
Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
Must be able to perform basic data analysis
Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations
Culturally sensative and able to work with diverse collaborators
