3M is seeking candidates for future employment opportunities in the Frontline Program.

The Frontline Program is seeking candidates for full-time opportunities in 2021.  Full time opportunities have a targeted start date during the months of January 2021 - June 2021.  Specific assignments and locations will be made after candidates have accepted positions. Candidates who are offered positions that include use of a company vehicle as part of the job must have a current and valid driver’s license, and must adhere to the 3M Fleet Policy as directed.

The Frontline Program at 3M:

The 3M Frontline Program offers opportunities to work in one of our four business groups or in our Sales & Marketing organization in a Sales Representative, Inside Sales Representative, and Marketing Administrator or Business Analyst role.   Individuals are expected to develop basic understanding of product lines, customer segments and their needs, competitive products, prices and policies. 

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• 
  Business Analyst: Research, analyze, and identify key data-driven insights from internal and external data; articulate these insights in the form of actionable recommendations that enable growth for strategic planning and operational execution by business leadership


• 
  Field Sales Representative: Achieving sales goals and objectives, calling on customer within assigned area or accounts; calling on end users within the paint trades; participate and sell at trade shows and pro show events; develop and implement effective sales plans; prepare administrative reports and presentations


• 
  Inside Sales Representative: Achieving sales goals and objectives; develop and implement effective sales plans; prepare administrative reports and presentations


• 
  Marketing Administrator: Market assessment (trend analysis; segmentation; customer insights; competitive analysis; brand analysis; eMarketing analysis); strategy development (positioning strategy; brand strategy; value propositions; channel strategy; pricing strategy); marketing and communications planning (message development; eMarketing and social media integration; creative strategy)

• Self- motivated and driven to succeed


• Ability to flourish in both team and individual environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing, or possesses, a Bachelor's degree, or higher, from an accredited university


• Possess a current and valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale


• Previous internship experience


• Possess a current and valid driver's license


• Possess strong oral, written, and presentation skills


• Excellent computer skills, planning and organizational skills


• Works effectively in a sales team environment


• Takes active role in self-development
