Global Networks Risk & Compliance manager - 1ST LINE OPERATIONS QISBC REPRESENTATIVE

At Equinix, Quality, Security, Business Continuity (QISBC) stewardship is of paramount concern. This position is responsible for the Global Networks implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement of Equinix's Global QISBC compliance policies and processes. It will also play a key role in further enhancing culture of quality, security and business continuity awareness within our service and platform environments.

Responsibilities


  • Implements a comprehensive QISBC Program for the Global Networks teams in scope in partnership with Global Operations, Center of Excellence (COE) Teams (QISBC Compliance, Security, InfoSec, Business Continuity, etc.), Global Networks Leadership, and Global Networks Operation Leads. Ensures compliance with Equinix policies, local, state, country and/or federal/international laws and regulations.


  • Implements and manages solid Risk management framework according to ISO31000 standards and FAIR methodology.


  • Works closely with Global Networks Management and Staff to enhance our Culture of Quality, Security, Business Continuity compliance.


  • Drives employee engagement in QISBC programs in Global Networks, enhancing culture of teamwork, influencing others to prioritize QISBC as a key component to success.


  • Provide governance for continued implementation of Quality, Security and Business Continuity requirements (e.g. quality management, risk management, information security, business recovery plan, emergency contact list, drill/testing, bridge letters, etc.)


  • Ensures reporting, analyzes trends, and makes recommendations to modify and improve QISBC practices working with Global Operations & functional COE teams as appropriate.


  • Develops and monitors a program to ensure customer, employee, subcontractor QISBC practices in Global Networks.


  • Support all quality, security and business continuity incident investigations using proper root cause analysis methods, working with Global Operation & functional COE teams as appropriate. Facilitates customer RFI/RFP/Audit requests relevant to compliance.


  • Develop, organizes, monitors, and conducts QISBC training as needed with internal L&D team and provides leadership for community of QISBC.


  • Responsible for supporting of compliance budgets and forecast planning working with Global Networks management/leads (as applicable)


  • Implements Equinix Global QISBC policies and procedures and tools as appropriate and implements QISBC compliance standards (such as ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO9001, ISO31000, SSAE18 SOC2 Tyep2, PCI DSS where applicable) as required.


  • Responsible for facilitating audit activities & ensuring any audit findings (customer, external, internal audits) have been resolved within their scope of responsibility.


  • Ensures all required QISBC records are maintained within the scope assigned (e.g. permits, certifications/reports, risk assessments, training, inspections, QISBC compliance evidence, etc.)


  • Evaluates new workplace changes, products, processes, equipment, substances, or procedures for compliance. Recommends corrective actions as appropriate.


  • Supports as an internal auditor, for the internal QISBC audit program.


  • This position will require travel to the company's various locations within assigned scope of Global Networks.It may also require additional national and international travel.


  • Ability to obtain a passport, possess a valid Driver License a plus


Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience, 10+ years in experience with at least 5+ years Networks service provider management or comparable sector such as business consulting; process management; data management; or other industrial environments desired.


  • 4+ years running or supporting an QISBC compliance program in data center, construction, manufacturing, financial institute, information technology or similar sector.


  • Proactive with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, risk management, process management, problem solving mind-set, and ability to write reports.


  • High integrity, skilled communicator, ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities working with different levels of colleagues/stakeholders across Equinix.


  • Experience working with various cross-functional teams and cultures


  • Experience with ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO9001, ISO31000, SSAE18 SOC2, PCI DSS, FAIR methodology and any local certification implementation a plus.


  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Infocom, Science or Engineering preferred but not required (so long as demonstrated comparable experience), Graduate Degree a plus.


  • Additional licenses and certifications a plus (e.g. IRCA, CDCP, Lead Auditor ISO, Lead Implementer ISO or local equivalents).
