Administrative Associate & Assistant Dispatcher

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc.

Elk Mound, WI

Position Summary

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to act as an Administrative Assistant and to assist with Dispatch functions as needed. Prefer local candidates or those willing to relocate. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Essential Functions


  • Processing of credit applications

  • Complete responsibility for Accounts Payable for the Branch

  • Prepare, review, file and organize all company contracts and insurance documents

  • Coordinate and review contracts and insurance requirements as required in cooperation with management and corporate legal department

  • Maintain computer database for the contract management and insurance certificate system

  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries and provide excellent customer service

  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries

  • Various administrative tasks such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry

  • Assist in the Dispatching of equipment and/or personnel as needed

Skills and Experience Requirements


  • Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products


  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision


  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology
