Remote Senior Strategic Program Manager - HPC System Implementation

Job Description:

Senior Program Manager, accountable for managing all aspects of a complex HPC system delivery contract, working closely with executive stakeholders to meet project scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations using sound best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manages HPC subcontract scope with the prime contractor.




• Creates and maintains all program management deliverables such as detailed project plan, risk management plan.




• Creates and reviews all program communication including status meetings and contract reviews.




• Serves as primary interface to all contract stakeholders.




• Demonstrates knowledge of HPC computing and applications.




• Develops and maintains strong interpersonal relationships with executive and technical counterparts.




• Follows Program Management best practices in all aspects executing in a complex project environment.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelors Required




• 10+yrs experience in project or program management.




• HPC technical experiences in hardware and/or software disciplines.




• Direct customer experience required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of best practices in project management; PMP Certification preferred but  not required.




• Working knowledge of HPC systems deployment and/or systems integration.




• Confidence in managing project scope through negotiation and issue management.
