Job Description and Responsibilities:

Perform clerical accounting and data entry tasks, including preparing, posting, maintaining and reconciliation of accounting entries.

• Full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including 3-way matching


• Performs journal entries, accruals, and closings


• Reconciles and balance bank, GL, and variances


• Research and resolve discrepancies and issues timely


• Maintains files and documentation thoroughly, accurately, and timely


• Assist with integration projects and support corporate and local initiatives


• Support Finance/Accounting team


• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience:

• Associates degree in an Accounting related field required


• 3-5 years accounting related experience with manufacturing background required


• Proficient in MS Products to generate automated reports (i.e. Excel functions: VLOOKUP, IF/Match/Index, and pivot tables)


• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred


• Must be flexible, organize, detailed oriented, and able to meet deadlines


• Work onsite with minimal supervision; comfortable with semi-manual processes

• Ability to work independently, as well as in group work settings in a dynamic environment


• Ability to prioritize competing and complex projects/deadlines


• Ability to analyze and problem solving


• Ability to learn and follow procedures and policies for processing and maintenance of accounting data


• Ability to perform the prescribed duties in an ethical manner
