Job Description:

The Ultra manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and assembly of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.

The Assembler, Solderer will work on electro-mechanical assemblies, assembling electronic components and wiring mechanical designs according to verbal instructions or written instructions or blueprints. Mechanically assemble parts and tasks such as potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, and cleaning. Performs testing and inspections as required to sub-components and completed assemblies. Trouble shoot and repair assemblies.

We are an industry leader and supplier of hand controls and other HMI products for the US Military.

Tools: You will use a soldering iron, solder pot, and hand tools, magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure assemblies meet design specifications and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• 1+ year of experience with electronic assembly and soldering


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Must Pass IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Testing within 6 Months of starting work (trained on site)


• Must Pass IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire harness Assemblies within 6 months of starting work (trained on site)


• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

• Ability to interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.


• Ability to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension)

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and transport of units up to 30 lbs unassisted


• Ability to use soldering iron


• Use of hands in a repetitive cycle
