Quality Inspector at ALDEVRON, LLC in Fargo, North Dakota

Job Description:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for the day to day receiving and inspection activities of the organization. This role will perform receipt inspections by examining inbound equipment and materials for required characteristics specified in the material specification documents. The Quality Inspector will be expected to master various systems, maintain required quality controls, and support the rest of the quality team as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for visual inspection of incoming materials by confirming specifications


• Document acceptance or rejection of materials/parts in the ERP system


• Collect appropriate samples of required raw material that support GMP manufacturing samples and submit for confirmatory testing


• Quarantine materials that do not meet incoming criteria or require confirmatory testing


• Ensure that final acceptance has been accomplished for all incoming product and has been properly labeled for release into the warehouse


• Verify all documentation is received, accurate, within specification and filed accordingly


• Document and compare results against certificates/specifications


• Initiate applicable reports for non-conforming materials and CAPA related activities


• Ensure non-conforming product is properly segregated and quarantined


• Ensure rejected materials are handled and segregated in accordance with internal work instructions


• Issue lot numbers and label materials for release to the warehouse


• Use inspection planning tools, determine sample size for lots, and pull random samples

Required Skills

• Experience working in a quality environment preferred


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping


• Basic computer skills including a word processing, and spreadsheet / data tracking analysis


• Decision and problem-solving skills

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• 6 months of work experience in related field

Work Hours/Shift

Monday-Friday –8:00 am - 5:00 pm
