INVESTMENT BANKING

Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Cross Markets Group (CMG) is the newest business unit within Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division and key growth initiatives at the Firm. The CMG team is focused on expanding our coverage of corporate clients and sponsor portfolio companies as well as middle market financial sponsors. We will cover clients across all industries and provide M&A, financing and other corporate finance solutions utilizing dedicated resources from within the Cross Markets Group team of investment bankers.

The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) investment banking group provides corporate clients across the FIG spectrum with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products. Our FIG Group provides financing and advisory services to financial institutions, including the leading players in the sectors we cover. Our group offers a wide range of products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance, risk management/hedging and co-investing. Within FIG, the banks and specialty finance team covers a broad array of lenders and deposit-taking institutions across the U.S. Given nature of FIG as an industry, our group offers an exciting and fast-paced environment with tremendous opportunity to contribute and grow.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of FIG Investment Banking Experience
• Current investment banking experience, including knowledge of debt & equity financing and M&A; expertise in related modeling and valuation techniques


• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
