Job Summary
This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Strategy. The Corporate Strategy team shapes the strategic direction of Point32Health, with a focus on identifying and leading enterprise-level initiatives and new business opportunities. The team advises and collaborates with company leaders to addresses key questions and critical business decisions facing senior management. The team's mandate is to drive innovation, identify strategic opportunities and target initiatives to optimize growth, revenue and margin. The Manager is responsible for analyzing and assessing market trends, consumer needs and competitive dynamics as well as exploring innovative solutions that can be brought to bear within Point32Health. This involves independent generation of ideas and solutions, independent management of stakeholders across the Enterprise at the VP level, drafting of reports and recommendations, and development of business cases for strategic options, including financial cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and primary market research.
The Manager will work on several strategic issues simultaneously and is expected to proactively and independently develop conclusions with guidance from the Director, and to make recommendations to Senior Leaders. This requires significant interaction with business leaders and senior management in developing solutions and presenting options, business cases, and recommendations. The Manager will also help ensure that decisions lead to business change by guiding and supporting implementation efforts as needed.
The Manager will take the lead in articulating and communicating the results of strategic assessments, with guidance from the Director. This may take the form of written reports, one-on-one conversations, working sessions, and more formal group presentations.
This role also includes management of analytical resources within Corporate Strategy and in collaboration with project teams from across the enterprise. The Manager will also work with external vendors and manage negotiations and interactions with Compliance and IS as needed for analytical efforts. A key quality of the Manager includes being an effective and collaborative colleague within the broader Corporate Strategy team and the ability to build connections across the enterprise.
