Hall’s Culligan of Oxnard is looking for a self-motivated, results oriented individual to join our Career Development Program where you will learn to service and install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems and other Culligan products. You will receive extensive hands on training that will set you up for a successful and lucrative career as a Field Service Technician. No experience in the plumbing field is required. We do require some mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude and a strong customer service background. The ability to communicate effectively with our customers is essential for this position.
The success and growth of our organization depends on knowledgeable and skilled Field Service Technicians. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to control your pay. Hall’s Culligan is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers. Employees are following the proper CDC guidelines and practicing social distancing. The latest technology allows our field employees to communicate with customers prior to their visit in order to avoid close contact and keep everyone safe.
Responsibilities
- Service/Installation Technicians are responsible for all aspects of service including troubleshooting and repair of water treatment equipment in residential and/or commercial venues.
- Deliver excellence in customer service at all times
- Engage in the sale of equipment and other supplies where appropriate
Qualifications
- Proficient with tools and repair work, mechanically inclined
- 1-2 years of service installation and/or equipment repair preferred
- Water softener installation and/or plumbing experience is a plus!
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 80lbs
- Must be 21 years of age with a decent driving record to drive a company vehicle
