Develops, reviews and administers service agreements between the company and third-party vendors. Provides support in the Supply Chain area and advises other areas with regards to determining contractual requirements and evaluating contract compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, reviews, negotiates and administers contractual agreements, time and material rates negotiations, and bids management.
Develops, reviews, negotiates and maintains contracts for IT related contracts, Construction management related contracts and services, materials purchasing and other service provisions.
Enters requests and purchase orders into requisite management system.
Creates, negotiates and incorporates contract amendments, renegotiating the contract, if required, to accommodate scope changes.
Oversees and controls the contractual relationships with third parties’ vendors in area of responsibility.
Maintains and reviews database to assure contracts are current with regards to terms and conditions.
Develops and administers the large capital construction bid/quoting process.
Evaluates vendor performance based on fulfillment and compliance to contract requirements.
May serve as backup in the procurement of goods and services.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
Minimum two (2) years of experience working with contracts.
Ability to analyze and interpret basic contract documentation.
Basic general research skills.
Ability to draft routine contractual instruments.
Possesses sound analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to multi-task and support concurrent requirements for different business units.
Ability to work with technical counterparts and broad business units for issue resolution and the evaluation and mitigation of risks.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
