Who You Are

As the Supervisor, Accounting for CXT, based in Nampa, Idaho, you will be an integral partner of our plants management team.  We are looking for a team player, mentor, creative thinker looking to advance in their career, and who wants to be part of a fast paced growing company. 

As our Supervisor, Accounting, you will oversee and support accounting responsibilities for three manufacturing plants based in Idaho, Texas and West Virginia, while working closely with the Controller of our Infrastructure Solutions based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This Position


  1. Support internal partners, other departments, management and external parties with data and analysis requests.

  2. Prepare monthly closing journal entries and take ownership of investigating / resolving odd results in a timely manner.

  3. Analyze trends in division wide costs and product line profitability.

  4. Prepare detailed account analysis reports for specific balance sheet accounts.

  5. Monitor cost systems and inventory movements for financial reporting across three plant locations.

  6. Supervise the work of accounting staff.

  7. Actively participate in implementing new ERP platform across all locations.

  8. Mentor plant leadership to enhance understanding of profit and loss, SG&A, and other financial reports.

  9. Ensure compliance with GAAP and perform management testing for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

  10. Liaise with Controller to streamline financial procedures through continuous improvement.

  11. Drive and support continuous improvement by challenging the status quo, supporting. management initiatives and developing and documenting new processes.

  12. Assist with other financial and compliance activities as needed.

  13. Respond timely to both internal and external audit requests.

 What You Need


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

  • MBA or advanced certification (CPA) a plus.

  • 5 years experience in accounting required

  • 2 years experience in the manufacturing industry in accounting or operations required

  • Proficient in understanding of US GAAP; comfortable in review and analysis of plant financial statements.

  • Experience in cost accounting and building product costs.

  • Strong user of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP a plus.
