The Executive Director of National Accounts - Home Builder fulfills the needs generated by our continued growth by focusing on the most influential home builders in the industry. In this role, this person is responsible for building and managing relationships with the largest, most geographically diverse home building organizations in the residential construction market. The role focuses the time and attention on learning and understanding their needs, applying complex MiTek solution programs to their needs, and overseeing product/project execution from start through finish through all divisions, with the support of our supporting divisions of the MiTek organization. The Executive Director of National Accounts is assigned a development target for existing and new home builder accounts.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Execute overall management responsibility around client execution acting as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, offering guidance while simultaneously assessing their needs and deploying MiTek capabilities to solve their problems.
Enhance the MiTek brand equity in the homebuilder space.
Deep understanding and experience working with complex corporate financials, results, and projections.
Experience working with construction practices in multiple geographic locations.
Research, document and monitor a strategic approach to establish a partnership, relationship health, discover issues, uncover opportunities, and plan courses of appropriate action in the residential market.
Act as customer advocate, resource and liaison between builder clients and fellow team members in the RNA division of MiTek, Residential North America.
Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
Drive greater awareness of offsite building practices amongst residential homebuilders.
Mentor and advise Builder Account Managers
Product Knowledge and Application
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company to identify and develop new product concepts.
Evaluate and execute client engagement business analysis
Develop and manage relationships with various disciplines at multiple levels in the corporate organization and divisional leadership structures
Create professional relationships and ensuring positive brand association
Build relationships with new clients while helping to cultivate relationships with existing ones
Overall management of all relationship activities with a focus on increasing the value of the account relationship
Develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets
Researching and pursuing new business leads for the growth of the business
New business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of an organization's products/services.
Routinely schedule and conduct meetings with both employees and builder clients to find solutions to strengthen partnerships
Monitor budgets, explain cost factors to clients, and negotiate new terms as necessary
Be vigilant and proactive at entering notes, details, and data in MiTek systems to other team members can see related data pursuant to their own roles and responsibilities
Engage in team meetings as thought leader, strategic thinker, and problem solver for MiTek internal initiatives
Travel, both domestic an internationally, as required to meet the goals and objectives of the position
Act as Brand Ambassador at industry events
Take leadership on projects assigned to you to uncover, and then overcome, challenges to finding solutions for builder clients
Be able to manage multiple projects, relationships, discussions, and action items at any one time
Seek reconciliation and cohesion among team members at all levels internally and externally with all customers
Be able to communicate, verbally and in writing, with polish, courtesy, respect, and professionalism, to all constituents, internally and externally
Be able to work routinely and adeptly in and on Microsoft platforms such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other systems and technology, with training, as may be used during the position
Develop teams and implement process and procedures to improve operational efficiency
Oversee cross functional work areas targeted to resolve issues raised by customers
Develop, track and report on key performance measurements for the department, team, or division
Seek innovative and effective ways to help lift and improve the relationship status of all customers

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: 4-year College degree or related work experience - MBA Preferred
Experience: Minimum 3 years related experience Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Power Point, and Outlook Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Required
