Responsible for assisting Horton distributors with quoting, product selection, order entry and order management using product knowledge or through researching product offerings.
Accurately process incoming orders through data entry into Oracle with applicable verifications, proper shipping instructions and pricing.
Ensure accuracy and consistency by reviewing architectural drawings and specifications to interpret what is required for each specific application.
Enhance customer satisfaction by resolving problems and answering questions in a timely, responsive and professional manner.
Provide quotes as requested by customers through Enterprise Quoting system.
Provide a communication channel to architects and distributors by answering specific questions regarding their application requirements.
Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned and may be required from time to time.
High School Diploma, or preferably a Bachelor’s Degree
At least three (3) years of customer service experience of which a portion has been in a key account interface role in construction related industry.
Ability to participate as a team member on projects that involve or impact the activities of the entire company.
Ability to make decisions that are varied and in many cases solutions must be developed.
Customer service orientation and emphasis on results, diplomacy, multitasking and priority setting.
Ability to use personal computer, copy machine, telephone and printers.
Possess computer proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred familiarity with Oracle and Enterprise Quoting systems.
Highly focused, intense visual requirements, ability to read and write.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
