Communications & Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy. The team provides world-class counsel to accelerate the business and deliver relevant content to build trust, drive stakeholder perception, and protect and enhance the company's reputation.
The motion graphics designer will report to the Art Director of the Editorial Content Center of Excellence within our Brand Communications team. Key responsibilities of this position include:
Creating engaging, effective storytelling
Developing multimedia and video assets for external, internal, and third-party platforms, including national and targeted campaigns, demos, training, webinars, podcasts, testimonials, executive communications, and dynamic presentations for events
Providing art direction (concept storyboarding, thumbnails, mood boards, shooting boards, shot lists), production design, motion graphics, animation, audio/video editing, and video/still photography support
Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with required technical standards
Building multimedia design systems and solutions to reinforce consistency and efficiency
Establishing a deep understanding of Wells Fargo brand design principles, components, and development processes
Protecting and promoting the Wells Fargo brand; ensuring assets adhere to brand and verbal standards, compliance and privacy regulations, and web policies
Participating in kickoff, progress, and presentation meetings with team
Understanding, embracing and exemplifying the Wells Fargo culture of caring
Producing assets for digital channel delivery using graphic design skills
(Adobe Creative Suite and available relevant imaging tools and plug-ins)
Conveying a strong understanding through high-impact conceptual work in the multimedia space
Collaborating with editorial, design, and video experts across the creative team
Identifying and implementing new techniques and processes within larger creative teams
A commitment to ongoing, productive collaboration and teamwork with Center of Excellence partners
Assuring accuracy and functionality by troubleshooting, testing, and analyzing technical issues, identifying potential solutions, and providing recommendations
Researching new technology and trends to share industry best practices with colleagues
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:

5+ years of graphic arts experience demonstrated through work or military experience
Strong presentation skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Other Desired Qualifications
4+ years of agency or corporate video Art Director or Sr. Designer experience (or equivalent)
Multimedia/video design experience in an agency or similar environment
Exceptional skills in motion graphics and animation (Adobe After Effects/plug-ins and Cinema 4D), audio/video editing and color correction (Adobe Premiere and/or Apple Final Cut); basic cinematography production, lighting
Familiar with usability best practices for digital, digital development processes and documentation
Strong digital channel and rich media and knowledge
Experience in large corporate, and regulated environments
Relevant undergraduate and/or post graduate education
Finalists will be asked to provide a portfolio showcasing digital work samples.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
