Purpose:

~ Manages the mastering and integration of customer data based on business rules defined by the Data Steward Committee and Office of Customer Management.

~ Works with business/IT management and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment between business/Customer Data Management (CDM) objectives and IT systems.

~ Works to develop roadmap for the Dealer Data Hub.

~ Works with the business for project ideation and socializing the importance of a given initiative to senior leadership

~ Works with IT and Business to develop a project backlog and assists in furthering the business capability.

~ Supports the business through various project stages from ideation to project kickoff to managing technology and vendor selection, assisting solution development and validating project deliverables.

 

Major Responsibilities:

~ Responsible for identifying issues and opportunities related to how customer data is acquired, cleansed, integrated, and displayed within Hyundai’s customer data architecture.

~ Serve as process owner for the Customer\Vehicle Data Hub and oversee the integration of customer-related data interfaces.

~ Develop business requirements for integrating customer data into HMA’s customer data architecture.

~ Lead implementation of recommended system changes and participate in user acceptance testing as necessary.

~ Serve as the strategic manager for data within the business and in that capacity serve as the principal voice for data quality, integration, and governance

~ Lead enterprise data activities to complete major and minor project implementation ensuring successful project completion on time, within budget and meeting operational needs.

~ Investigate reports of customer data integration problems and recommend solutions for OCM team to evaluate.

~ Lead the facilitation of high level solution exploration with the enterprise

~ Review requests involving Dealer Data to ensure appropriate use of data.

~ Provide thought leadership based on industry trends and drive relevant innovations into various business groups.

~ Manage and track department budget.

 

Authority:

~ This position has common senior manager-level authority as defined by HMA HR/Finance policy.

~ Employment decision-making abilities in designated area of responsibility.

 

Education:

~ Must have a Bachelor’s degree.

~ Master’s degree a plus.

 

Related Experience:

~ Eight years of related analytical automotive industry experience.

~ Previous Business/Systems Analyst background experience required.

~ Related automotive service\ ownership domain experience.

~ Management consulting experience is a plus.

~Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred.

~ Two to three years of Enterprise Customer Data Management experience.

~ Two years of Enterprise Customer Relationship Management experience.

 

Skill/Knowledge:

~ Heavy emphasis on data integration and database structure.

~ Strong interpersonal relationship skills, analytical skills, written and oral communication skills and leadership skills.

~ Customer Relationship Management(CRM) software (Siebel) functional knowledge

~ Project management and project tracking.

~ Able to perform in a fast paced environment and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.

~ Able to lead and manage personnel.

 

Physical requirements:

~ Normal office duties.

~ Overnight travel may be necessary.
