REHAB SECRETARY
Full Time with Benefits

The Rehab Secretary is responsible for performing designated routine tasks related to the operation of the therapy services, and may assist with patient-related activities as assigned.  Some knowledge of insurance and billing procedures is preferred.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent..


2. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.


3. Ability to perform mental, physical and emotional requirements of the job.


4. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, and coworkers.

Position Highlights:

1. Complete assigned duties as instructed.


2. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional work area.


3. Assist in maintaining safe and properly functioning equipment.


4. Communicate accurate information in written or verbal format.


5. Maintain stock of supplies and linens, clean and maintain equipment and maintain a safe, neat, and efficient working environment.


6. Perform general office procedures, as determined by the FRC/CRC.


7. Prepare patients for treatment and assist the therapists and assistants as requested.


8. Attend meetings and in-services as directed by the FRC/CRC.


9. Ensure patients are transported to and from the appropriate therapy department
