Keplr Vision is currently going through tremendous growth and expanding its revenue Department. We are seeking a detail-oriented, results driven Charge Master/Pricing Analyst to join the team in our Bloomington, IL location! The Charge Master/Pricing is responsible for researching, managing, coordinating, and implementing Charge Description Master (“CDM”)/Practice Management System Fee Schedule and charge capture initiatives and processes to ensure revenue management and revenue protection.
Responsibilities:
Reviews CDM change requests for accuracy; approves additions, deletions, and modifications to charges; communicates to partner practices requested changes.
Processes CDM additions, deletions and change requests while maintaining compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
Monitors government and commercial payers for updates and changes to fee schedules/contractually allowed reimbursement and proposes updates to charges as needed..
Provides guidance and education related to pricing and charge capture of services to team.
Ensures the overall integrity of the CDM.
Conducts audit/review activities to ensure appropriate revenue management and charge capture.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, or related experience preferred.
Strong understanding of Revenue Integrity/Charge Description Master, its impact throughout the revenue cycle, and contribution to revenue management.
General knowledge of optometry CPT codes preferred.
Working knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and analytical skills; innovative with ability to identify and solve problems.
Related experience in a Healthcare setting.
Excellent interpersonal, judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to undertake assignments with minimum supervision and direction.
