A smaller short term acute care hospital in Southern Louisiana is actively seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to join their outstanding team! This facility is prepared to move quickly for the experienced nurse leader.

This beautiful 15+ bed specialty hospital is located in Southern Louisiana, and offers a range of medical services, to include: inpatient and outpatient surgical services, rehabilitation services, diagnostic imaging and radiology, inpatient medical surgical care, and 24-hour emergency services. This facility is proudly physician-owned and is accredited by The Joint Commission; it obtains 6+ operating suites and 4 procedure rooms with state-of-the art equipment, fully prepared to accommodate 7,500+ annual surgeries.

As an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and hospital leadership team, the Chief Nursing Officer will be largely responsible for this growing hospital’s nursing services and will serve as a key point of contact between staff and the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and governing body. The CNO will also be responsible for the following departments: Pharmacy, Radiology, Quality and Patient Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Education. The Chief Nursing Officer will have the wonderful opportunity to manage day-to-day operations of all units, in addition to focusing on achieving long-term goals of the facility. Experience with developing policies and procedures, managing several departments, and strong transformative leadership capabilities are critical aspects of this position.

The ideal candidate for this role will obtain 7 or more years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting, along with BSN and Louisiana State RN Licensure.
