On a global basis, the Sr. Manager serves as a strategist, internal business consultant, process driver, subject matter expert, stakeholder, supplier interface, and interface to Herbalife Legal department, Privacy department, Risk management department, GTS department, Cyber Security department and all other internal stakeholders specific to development, execution, monitoring, maintenance, metrics reporting, and interpretation of procurement related contracts. This position will manage processes that initiate, negotiate, execute, monitor, and report on status of procurement related contracts and the performance metrics associated with them. This position will guide and design automation of the contract management process. This position contributes to global contract strategies, manages cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Monitor industry and bring strong business practices that improve overall performance of the company and department.
Quickly comprehend global business deals, provide strategic input, and effectively tailor the agreements to better meet Herbalife’s objectives, mitigate risk to Herbalife, and drive value.
Develop and apply solutions to complex problems requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Review complex domestic and international contracts for compliance with particular focus on identification and mitigation of contract content and execution risk.
Optimize contract development and execution workflow on both a manual and automated level (leveraging contracts management software tool).
Provide direct supervision and oversight to GSS contracts staff
Support regional staff in the development and execution of contracts to meet local laws and regulations.
Eliminate or tightly control contract backlog.
Ensure contracts processing KPI’s/throughput goals are met.
Lead/achieve contract dispute resolution.
Identify/realize cost savings, customer service, and process improvement opportunities.
Maintain updated policies and procedures for GSS contracts.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience:
8 – 10 years contracts development experience
