OVERVIEW


The Trainer is responsible for the implementation and management of new employee training programs and tracking of employee training activities while ensuring consistency among training programs. The Trainer is responsible for maximizing employee productivity and retention through new and existing employee training programs. The Trainer will drive implementation of training programs, audit training effectiveness, work with the Training Manager to create SOP’S.


 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Deliver and monitor training programs within the organization.

  • Partner closely with Training Manager to conduct overall needs assessment, assist with design and implement programs for people and processes to drive high performance and increase retention. Evaluate programs regularly to ensure maximum learning and productivity.

  • Perform on-going reviews of programs to ensure learning solutions evolve with our goals and ensure they are current and effective.

  • Solicit information and feedback from leadership and employees to determine success and effectiveness of trainings

  • Manage the administrative functions within the team including but not limited to scheduling classes, maintaining training documentation, handling attendance records, generating reports, and coordinating enrollment

  • Foster collaborative relationships with diverse cultural groups, as well as with professional, technical, administrative and service employees

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • A minimum of 3 years learning and development experience as a proactive leader with effective management skills

  • Experience in building a learning and development infrastructure across a geographically dispersed workforce

  • Extensive knowledge of best practices in developing leaders and experience applying these best practices within organizations

  • E-Learning experience; ability to leverage technology to deliver training

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; an engaging personality with strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
