Overview

Fuel Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, effective, safe and courteous quality service to all customers. These objectives are obtained through quality customer service, merchandise handling, cleaning, maintenance, safety, security and other general duties as assigned. This is an hourly non-exempt (full or part-time) position reporting directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred or equivalent experience. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrates sales and customer services skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and to speak effectively before customers and employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to exercise sound judgment and work with minimum supervision. Ability to perform basic computer skills.
Physical Demands
Outside (conditions include exposure to inclement weather, dust, fumes, etc.). Essential equipment used: gas and diesel pumps, credit card machine, cash register, cones, flashlights, flares, hand truck, squeeze clipboard, pen and pencil, floor jack, lug wrench, 2-way radio or other communication devices.
