The Financial Analyst will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting and is a pivotal team member of the unit responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC filings and consolidated financial reporting. The Financial Analyst will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentation
Be accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departments
Recognize, research and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues
Analyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusions
Assist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up-to-to-date taxonomy updates
Assist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards
Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn accounting software
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently
Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
