As a part of a growing team, you will help establish data governance, insights intelligent solutions, and design data enablement standards, processes, and best practices.

About the job


  • Map and communicate current state of data landscape, catalog existing data sources, current business intelligent data reports, analytical and visualization tools

  • Identify common data enablement terms and establish global data dictionary

  • Facilitate future state elicitation of business intelligence needs, data availability, and tools/skills

  • Review existing policies and identify data requirements and expectations

  • Collect and document operational Measurements and performance metrics

  • Provide guidance to partners on conceiving efficient approaches to developing business insight, use of visualization tools, and creation of desired dashboards.

  • Help create and maintain workflows, instructional documents, program templates and tools

  • Make recommendations to enhance operational efficiency through automation and new service advancements

  • Work with partners within one group to align technical solutions with business strategies or may support several moderately complex processes

  • Use modeling techniques (business processes, data, events), to discover and clarify the functional and data requirements

  • Work with the our users to accurately capture all partner requests and translate them into system specifications which typically include functional, non-functional, user interface, reports and external interface specifications.

  • Help decide additional industry standards reporting recommendations, dashboard technologies and analytics tools, performance measurement practices

  • Decide Global standardization of data policies, ownership recommendations, and value/benefit assessment for prioritization, and success metrics for multiple global departments.

  • Help measure success of projects and adoption of intelligent insights

  • Participate in creation of visualizations for intelligent insights and projects related performance.

About you


  • Strong knowledge of data governance and data management concepts, approaches and tools

  • Explain value of data governance to both business and technical partners.

  • Analyze and distill concepts and present to clients.

  • Anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact results.

  • Comfortable working with a global team, partners, and customers in a change agile environment

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading data strategy, data governance, report/dashboard design

  • 8+ years of I.T. and Data Analysis experience, working knowledge of analytical and visualization tools

  • 2+ years of in-depth Python programming skills, ability to use SQL to access data

  • Experience in retail industry, eCommerce or supply chain related fields

  • Exhibit a passion for AI and data and desire to continually learn and keep pace with the latest innovations and applications
