Job Summary:
The Technical Assistance Project Director is responsible for the vision and quality of services delivered by Shine Early Learning and all subcontractors within the SPARK Learning Lab Indiana project. This individual will directly supervise staff including Deputy Directors, Paths to QUALITY Manager, Operations and
Technology Manager, and Administrative Assistant. He/She will also have dotted line supervision responsibilities for support provided by Shine Early Learning Support Center and subcontractors. The Project Director will be the primary liaison to the State and will be accountable for meeting or exceeding specific performance measures set by the State, including developing and implementing key strategies to do so. This role will be responsible to develop the program improvement plan each year, as well as implementing and managing any improvements the plan identifies. Lastly, the Project Director will serve as a public figure and relationship manager with all other early childhood entities within the state.
Location of this position within Indiana is flexible as the position will require local travel in Indiana.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serves as the primary liaison between Shine, Contractors, and the State.
• Manages fiscal matters and has budget accountability for the entire contract.
• Recruits, onboards, manages, and supports key management staff, along with Human Resources.
• Leads the execution of Shine’s TA support.
• Ensure the deployment of relevant, high-quality resources, training, and coaching, including the Indiana Self-Assessment Tool
• Reviews relevant datasets regularly to inform strategic decisions about the services being delivered.
• Oversees the development and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including a Program Improvement Plan
• Ensures strong relationships with all early childhood support organizations within the state such
that we can maintain integrated, high-quality support for providers.
• Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required.
Supervision
● Supervises assigned department personnel. Includes the following responsibilities, but are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the completion of all work performed by direct reports.
● Educates direct reports on all department and company policies and procedures.
● Meets with assigned staff regularly to identify and resolve problems, manage projects, track goals, and review work processes and procedures.
● Represents team and/or department at meetings, events, and training as required.
Job Requirements:
This position earns up to 103,244.40 Annually
