Assists the Physician(s) and others providing direct patient care in the CMH Raiter Family Clinic. This position also requires assisting with medication refills, immunizations, and assisting other Clinic Assistants as needed. Rooms patients, takes vital signs, performs hearing tests, tympanic testing, bladder scans, and assist with performing EKG'S. Documents appropriate observations in the electronic medical record. Acts as a liaison between physician and patient. Perform other duties as assigned. The position will primarily work days 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Requirements:Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Current licensure (LPN) or certification as a CMA or willingness to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire. Clinic experience preferred. BLS and/or willingness to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
