Slot Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Slot Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and monitoring the operation of assigned electronic gaming devices, as well as their installation and removal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward external and internal guests at all times while dealing with high-volume customer interactions.

•Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, exhibit appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel, and seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.

•Ensure slot-playing guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions, and promptly and professionally responding to radio calls.

•Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slot-related equipment on the casino floor and in the slot shop.

•Participate in the installation, movement, and removal of slot-related equipment.

•Keep work areas in a clean and orderly manner.

•Actively help to ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

•Comply with all policies and procedures established by Caesars Entertainment and departmental management.

•Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, procedures and regulations.

•Understand and adhere to all Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.

•Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.

•Exercise excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Be mindful of attention to detail and ensure accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork and reports.

•Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

•High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

•Must be able to maintain a valid state gaming license.

•Previous experience in computer installation or related field preferred.

•Previous experience in board-level electronics repair preferred, but not required.

MENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

•Ability to read and write simple instructions and regulatory documents.

•Working knowledge of various hand tools and electronic testing devices.

•Ability to solve complex problems.

•Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures, which may include variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.

•Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

•Ability to stand for long periods of time on a daily basis, walk frequently to various areas of the property, and be able to push, pull, or move objects weighing 150 or more pounds with assistance.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00
