The U.S. Back Office Customer Service (BOCS) organization is seeking a Claims Examiner in our PRT/DB Annuity Team of Beneficiary Fulfillment. The successful candidate will be accountable for the experience of the beneficiary as they key critical death claims transactions and help to move claims into good order by verbal and written communication with our beneficiaries.  The candidate will be expected to interpret and calculate benefits according to contractual provisions, procedures, and federal and state regulations.  The role can be filled anywhere geographically.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Creating a fast, accurate, and seamless experience for the beneficiary

  • Communicating to our beneficiaries and advisors in a professional manner, both verbal and written to bring claims into good order

  • Determining good order of requirements and processing the claim

  • Apply procedures and interpret contractual provisions

  • Calculate of benefits

  • Participate in projects as needed

Qualifications:


  • Available to work overtime on short notice

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Annuity experience is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Ability to build strong relationships with your team and leaders

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and intermediate Excel skills

  • Impeccable organization, time management, and problem-solving skills

Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $38,200 - $51,700 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
