As the Supervisor, Carrier Procurement, you will work cross-functionally with various departments, including sales, carrier procurement and operations, carrier compliance, finance and accounts payable. You'll manage a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives and ensure that everyone is consistently delivering positive results. As a part of the XPO team, you'll have a starring role in helping us continue to provide game-changing solutions for our global customers.

What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Manage the daily operations of the team

  • Develop and expand carrier relationships with both existing and new carriers

  • Train, mentor and develop a team of Carrier Procurement Representatives

  • Book freight and maintain KPI metrics while ensuring your direct reports do the same


What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 2 years of professional work experience

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 years of non-asset-based brokerage experience

  • Experience working directly with carriers

  • Solid experience in management, with the ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees; conflict resolution skills
