Director of Grants Administration!

 In 2022 alone this Health Research Institute has received nine new awards including grants in the areas of Financial Worry, Methods to Reduce Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Suicide Risk, Acceptability of Using Public Records for Suicide Prevention, Maintenance of Innovation, and more. The Director of Grants Administration will be expected to manage and direct the Pre-Award & Post-Award Grant Administration including financial management, regulatory research compliance, day-to-day direction, management of staff, and collaboration with other units of the Financial Research Administration.

 The Director of Grants Administration will lead mid-size to large teams and collaborate with other administrative personnel and health scientists. This Director will oversee a department of 20 full time employees and be supported by two managers and other indirect reports as well as create partnerships across other regions within this health system. 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal Director of Grants Administration include five+ years of supervisory experience in managing sponsored research grants and awards as well as a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in a related Biomed, finance, or Health Service. A Director of Grants Administration with knowledge in Lean methodology and knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance and Super Circulars will make for quick interviews.
