QA Technical Analyst at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Sylmar, California

Job Description:

As a QA Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for updating procedures and work instructions to detail the manufacturing process throughout the production facility. In this role, you will work in a team environment to identify and resolve problems that will reduce costs associated with defective parts and improve the overall manufacturing process! Can you search, support, capture, and compile vital information to communicate and analyze data? If so, this may be the job for you!
Key Responsibilities

• Work with production personnel in all departments to audit processes and procedures while identifying technical issues and developing resolutions.
• Analyze, document, and implement improvements to the Quality Management System based on observations and hands-on collaboration.
• Work with area Supervisors, Operators, Inspectors, and Qualified Operators to ensure bill of operations (BOO) / bill of materials (BOM) and process specifications agree with production build requirements, and ensure accurate corrections are made when these documents are not accurate.
• Promote proactive demeanor and actions to promote partnership, responsibility, and growth potential.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of proven experience in Aerospace and/or Manufacturing Environment.
• Capable of wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) with, or without reasonable accommodation.
