Overview

We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven candidates to join the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Industry. We are offering an on-site 12 week EMT-B Student Program that will educate students and prepare them to challenge the National Registry Exam and become an Illinois Licensed EMT. All materials are covered by Superior Ambulance Service (SAS). Upon receiving their Illinois EMT licensure, the student will be hired as a full time employee and be required to complete a one year (15 months) commitment of continuous full time employment. There is NO cost for the selected students to attend the class unless they are unable to complete the one year of employment after licensure.

Responsibilities

• Classes Start September 12th, 2022
  


• Class Duration: 12 weeks Class Meets: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at our IMD location, Located at 1350 S. Leavitt St, Chicago IL
  

• 18 years of age minimum


• Pass physical, lift test (140 lbs.) and drug screen. Provide Immunization Record


• Pass criminal background check


• A valid Driver's License and good driving record


• Agree to sign an EMT Apprentice Program Contract and have availability to work full time for one year after completion


• Maintain a minimum GPA of 80%


• Ability to read/comprehend at a college level `
