*This is a remote position with 1-2 weeks of training onsite to begin with (depending on candidate experience).

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the corporate demand forecast for the phone and internet channels, including promotional impacts. You will act as a resource across the Marketing division, as well as to division leaders and executive committee members on all areas of responsibility and will be expected to analyze both actual results and complex what-if scenarios at it relates to offer management. 

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain corporate demand forecasts for both the phone and internet channels, including promotional impact.


• Publish a variety of daily and weekly reports that will be used for strategic and tactical business decisions including Buyer File reporting and projections.


• Publish quarterly reports used for strategic decision making as well as external reporting.


• Act as a resource for all divisions of the business with respect to promotional capability, sales impact, and estimated promotion profit.


• Develop and organize promotional calendar across marketing channels. Lead a cross-functional team focusing on execution of promotions.


• Partner with operations teams in the call center and distribution center to provide forecasts that will impact staffing.


• Act as subject matter expert in departmental and cross-functional meetings on topics related to areas of responsibility.


• Provide support for all ad hoc departmental requests or projects. 
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field


• 3+ years of management experience with demonstrated strong leadership skills


• 3+ years marketing analysis or technical experience, preferably in direct or retail marketing


• Must have strong P&L orientation with the ability to measure financial impact of marketing decisions and understand the systems, procedures, tools and methodologies used for forecasting and offer management.


• Be well versed in the drivers of marketing costs and be able to relate the impact of costs on marketing initiatives.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability


• Strong communication and project management skills


• Skilled in the use of PC and mainframe software and applications (esp. Microsoft products and Business Objects)


• Experience in Direct Marketing preferred
