Passionate fans are critical to the success of Oklahoma Athletics, and creating a great home-atmosphere is a key component in that success. The Associate Director of Big Screens & Game Entertainment is responsible for helping plan, build and execute in-arena big screen elements. The position includes oversight responsibilities of content creation and big screen productions at every venue in support of Oklahoma Athletics.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for in-arena entertainment and showcase a high-ceiling for content creation ability. The candidate will be expected to produce a wide variety of content, which requires in-studio and on-site shoots with student-athletes, as well as post-production edits with game action / acquired footage. Working with a variety of canvas sizes, the candidate will need to think creatively and find ways to use the tools, such as After Effects, to format content across various venues.
This position will work closely with Sooner Sports Properties to ensure sponsorship execution, along with the OU Marketing Department in the planning and execution of all in-game promotions/features. As a result, nights and weekends will be required in support of live games as assigned.
