Job Description:

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IFG MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MILLWRIGHT LOCATED IN LUMBERTON, MS:


POSITION EXPECTATIONS:



  • Perform a diverse range of tasks: Preventative Maintenance of heavy industrial machinery, Repair industrial machinery  to improve production, quality and efficiency, Operations, Lubricating, Welding, Equipment Assembly, Parts Installation.

  • Dismantle and re-assembly on various types of equipment for modifications or upgrades

  • Trouble shoot or inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of issue or to prevent other problems

  • Operate Man Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and other various types of heavy equipment

  • Keep Work Area Clean

  • Perform other tasks as requested


EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Excellent natural problem solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude

  • Strong Industrial Maintenance Experience

  • Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes-Preferred

  • Extensive Cutting, Welding, and fabrication skills

  • Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints

  • Able to work various shifts, days, weekends and overtime as needed

  • Other technical/mechanical/electrical certifications will be considered

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Driver’s License - Required


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs.  Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles (sawdust).
