Lead consultant - Python, SAS, SQL at Infosys Limited in Richardson, Texas

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Lead Consultant in Python, SAS, SQL Technologies. This position's primary responsibility will be to lead transformation program efforts at different stages from Business Process Design to solution design, development and deployment. The role will require experience in Python, SAS, SQL technologies

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford ,CT or Stamford CT or Groton CT or be willing to relocate to the area. We are also ok to consider candidates working remote anywhere in USA. This position may require travel in the US.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Experience with Python, SAS, SQL Technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
• At least 10 years of overall design, development experience in programs involving Python, SAS, SQL technologies.
• Should be able to do the technical design - including customization, integration, converting NFRs in to design and solution etc.
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• This position would require extensive travel as per project needs.
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Experience with project management
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
