OR Circulator - RN Ambulatory Surgery Center
$5000 Hiring Bonus*

Vancouver Clinic has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our AAAHC accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center! Our ASC is expanding our operations into new state-of-the-art facilities, eventually opening up three new operating rooms (6 rooms in total), service line expansion, and increasing volume.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including two doses of a 2-dose series or a single dose of a 1-dose series prior to start date. Fully vaccinated is defined as 14 days post series completion date.

Pay range starts at $41.00/hour, higher depending on experience.

We are seeking operating room nurses to assist the surgeons during procedures and provide patients with safe, effective care throughout the process of surgery. We provide multi-specialty outpatient services, including Pediatrics and Robotic-Assisted surgery.

Will need to possess efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of operation procedures and patient safety. The ideal candidate is a compassionate critical thinker, able to act quickly. Candidates must have the availability to work two 10-hour shifts Monday - Friday.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.


• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.


• Ensure the surgical asepsis is adhered to during the surgical procedure,


• Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the procedure.


• Collaborate with all members of the health care team.

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of surgical operation procedures.


• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.


• Excellent observation skills.


• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.


• Outstanding organizational ability.


• A great team player with excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Current unencumbered WA State RN license required.


• Experience as operating room nurse, circulating and scrub preferred.


• BLS required.


• ACLS, and PALS required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.


• CNOR certification a plus.


• Conscious sedation experience a plus.
