The Social Worker will provide direct clinical psychotherapy to individuals, adolescents, children, marital and family in a clinical setting using the medical model. Diagnose and treatment using clinical psychotherapy with medical model, assessing DSM-V billing. Provides the following:
Dialectical Behavioral therapy
Cognitive Behavioral therapy
Assessments and treatment for ADHD
Grief therapy, marital therapy and play therapy
Assess and admit for psychiatric hospitalization
Responsibilities also include:
Provides emergency services on a walk in or by phone basis.
Collaborates with external agencies: Court referrals, court testimonies, Referral from outside medical center and Mental health referrals.
Attend and participates in provider meetings.
Provides input into the development of social work policies and procedures.
What the Social Worker will need:
Licensed LMSW in the State of Michigan
2 years of experience in clinical setting, minimum
