Sales Manager RV (Elkhart, IN Region) at Garmin USA in Elkhart, Indiana

Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Sales Manager RV for the Elkhart, IN area.  In this role, you will be responsible for directing the Garmin / Fusion RV business. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with Garmin teams on administration and sales functions and have full responsibility for budgeting and maintaining Garmin Entertainment sales activities


• Manage all aspects of the RV Entertainment business including setting and achieving yearly sales and expense budgets


• Manage various direct OEM accounts including day to day account management of major accounts


• Able to travel frequently and represent Garmin at corporate functions, meetings, trade events and sales trips


• Communicate and liaise with Product Management in Olathe & Auckland while working closely with the engineering teams as required and provide market, product and competitor feedback


• Set, action and maintain pricing strategy on new and existing products


• Develop strong technical and product knowledge base

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 3 years' experience in sales and marketing, OR a minimum of 7 years of sales and marketing experience


• Experience in the RV industry


• Experience with supplying a product or service via national distributors or OEM’s


• Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets/goals


• Must possess outstanding sales and business strategy skillset


• Flexibility to travel frequently and adjust work hours to the business


• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


• Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and lead in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
